Volunteers

Volunteer Position Defined:

  • COACHES & ASSISTANTS - All are volunteers that dedicate themselves to the tasks of teaching the game of hockey while attempting to make it fun.
  • CONVENORS - Watch games, field questions, and deal with complaints. They call coaches and organize evaluations and maintain stats for their divisions.
  • FUND RAISERS - We raise money through several optional fund raising activities in order to offset the cost of ice time, insurance, equipment and other expnses. This also helps keep control of registration fees. Activities include: Bingos, Booster Club, Dances, Skate-A-Thons, and more.
  • BOARD OF DIRECTORS - They are comprised of 19 individuals and are elected by members at our Annual General Meeting. Each year 8 of the boards positions come up for elections for a 2 year term. Board member meet regularily through the year to run the organization.
