Red Circle Hockey Club Partners with Snipe Academy

London, Ontario – August 28, 2025 – Red Circle Hockey Club is excited to announce a partnership with Snipe Academy of London, aimed at delivering our Sunday hockey development programs for both players and goalies throughout the season.

About Snipe Academy of London

Snipe Academy serves as London's premier hockey training and development facility, offering a wide range of programs including On-ice Development Programs for all ages and skill levels, Team Development Training, Shooting and Skills Classes, Private Lessons, Outdoor Rink (The ODR), and RapidShot (a batting cage for hockey) at their Hyde Park Rd Headquarters.

Coach Bill Faragher

Central to this partnership is Coach Bill Faragher. A London native who advanced through the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs (EMC) AAA program, was drafted to the Sarnia Sting in the 2018 OHL draft and later played for the London Nationals. Today, Bill serves as Director of Hockey Operations at Snipe Academy, where he runs Hockey Operations and Player Development. He prides himself on delivering hockey development with structure and purpose, approaching each athlete individually, and building a positive hockey environment. Bill brings years of on-ice expertise, ensuring athletes receive high-repetition, detail-oriented instruction in a positive and supportive environment.

Coach Aidan Hughes

Leading the goaltending program is Coach Aidan Hughes. A seasoned goaltender with a strong background in junior, university, and professional hockey, Aidan’s career includes 5 seasons across the OHL and Junior B with the Sarnia Legionnaires, Sarnia Sting, Oshawa Generals, and Caledonia Corvairs, followed by 3 seasons in the OUA with Brock University, and a professional season with GDT Bellinzona in Switzerland. Today, Aidan serves as Head Goalie Instructor at Snipe Academy, where he has designed and developed Snipe academy’s goalie program. With years of playing experience, Aidan takes pride in tailoring his instruction to each goalie’s unique style.

Program Highlights

• Expert-Led Training: Programming for all Sunday sessions will be expertly led by experienced instructors, ensuring consistent, high-calibre instruction for both players and goalies.
• Comprehensive Skill Development: Sessions will emphasize shooting, skating efficiency and tactical awareness.
• Enhanced On-Ice Support: Sunday clinics reinforce Red Circle’s philosophy of inclusive development for every athlete—regardless of skill or experience level.
• Session Features: Different sessions will focus on shooting and skating designed for players U9+, at all ability levels while additional advanced sessions in tactical awareness and positional skills will be available for more experienced players.
• Goalie-Only Clinics: Designed and developed by by Coach Aidan Hughes, focusing on position-specific techniques, reaction speed, situational awareness, and recovery movement drills.
