Red Circle Hockey Club Sunday U9+ Development Sessions Continue for the Remainder of the Season

London, Ontario – After a strong start to the season, Red Circle Hockey Club is pleased to continue our Sunday hockey development sessions, delivered in partnership with Snipe Academy, throughout the remainder of the year, with openings now available in upcoming sessions.

The initial block of sessions sold out quickly earlier in the season, reflecting the high demand for structured, high-quality development. As schedules have adjusted and additional capacity has been approved, we are excited to offer families another opportunity to participate.

A Proven Development Environment

These Sunday sessions are designed to complement team programming by providing focused, repetition-based development in a positive and supportive environment. Programming continues to be delivered by the experienced coaching staff at Snipe Academy, London’s premier hockey training and development facility.

Player Development Sessions

Player sessions are structured to support athletes across a range of skill levels, with age-appropriate groupings and clear instructional goals. Each session emphasizes strong fundamentals while encouraging confidence, decision-making, and enjoyment of the game.

  • Skating & Efficiency: Edge control, balance, and movement patterns that translate directly to game situations.
  • Shooting & Puck Skills: Technique-focused repetitions designed to build confidence and consistency.
  • Tactical Awareness: Positioning, spacing, and decision-making for more experienced players.
  • Inclusive Grouping: Sessions are designed so athletes can learn, progress, and stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed.

Goalie Development Sessions

Goaltending development continues to be led by Coach Aidan Hughes, Head Goalie Instructor at Snipe Academy. In addition to our regular on-ice programming, Red Circle Hockey Club now offers outdoor goalie development sessions on Snipe Academy’s Outdoor Rink (ODR), providing goalies with a unique training environment while maintaining the same high instructional standards.

Both indoor and outdoor sessions focus on position-specific development, ensuring each goalie receives detailed, individualized instruction in a small-group setting.

  • Positional fundamentals and crease movement tailored to game situations
  • Recovery mechanics and edge work to improve efficiency and control
  • Reaction speed and situational awareness through high-repetition drills
  • Outdoor ODR sessions: Limited-size groups with dedicated goalie coaching and shooters, emphasizing reads, compete level, and adaptability

Why Register Now

With earlier sessions filling quickly, families are encouraged to review the remaining dates and register while spots are available. These additional openings provide a valuable opportunity for players and goalies to benefit from consistent, high-quality development as the season progresses.

Full details including dates, times, and registration links are available on our Hockey Clinics page.

We look forward to welcoming both returning participants and new families to the ice as we continue building skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the game throughout the rest of the season.
