What is Red Circle Hockey Club

Red Circle Hockey Club is a house league program offering ice 2 times per week for players from 4 years old to 20 years old.  Ice times and days of the week will be consistent each week and communicated at the start of the season.  Example – U7 play Sat & Sun mornings, U15 may play Tues. and Sat evenings.

Red Circle Hockey Club’s motto is “Equal Opportunity Regardless of Ability” which means that regardless of if you are a first-time skater, first time hockey player or a player who has been playing hockey for years you will receive the same amount of ice time.

What is the Annual Fundraising fee?

Each December Red Circle Hockey Club holds their annual cash raffle.  The Annual Fundraising fee is the purchase of those tickets by each player.  Players can sell their tickets to family and friends to recoup this cost.  Tickets are $5.00 each and you will receive 15 tickets for each player registered.

How do we keep our fees the lowest in the city?

Red Circle Hockey Club is a not-for-profit organization who believes in providing the hockey for everyone.  We hold several fundraising events throughout the year including our annual golf tournament, the annual fundraising draw (mentioned above), monthly Bingo’s, team sponsorships and 2 team fundraising events throughout the hockey season.

What do you receive for your fees?

Each division receives 2 ice times per week as outlined below.  Ice times for the season would be on the same days each week and the same times each week within the division ice time blocks.  All divisions U9 and up are full ice hockey!

Anyone taking advantage of the JumpStart or other Community Based Subsidy programs must do so early, many of these programs run out of funds in August and September as the season grows closer.

Please be sure to speak with our registrar at [email protected] before registering.

Refund Policy: Once registered, players withdrawing prior to the start of the season (Sept. 24th) will be charged a $100.00 administration fee per player.  Players withdrawing prior to November 1st will be charged a $150.00 administration fee.  There will be no refunds after November 1st. Requests for all refunds must be in writing via email to the registrar and come from the person (email account) who registered said player. You can find many frequently asked questions at the bottom of this page regarding our hockey season.
